Full Transparency

Gypsy Rose Pomskies prides themselves on being an honest and ethical Pomsky breeder

DNA testing is done through Embark before breeding to ensure happy and healthy next generation Pomskies.  Embark has the ability to test over 190+ hereditary diseases. When the results come back we are able to see if the parent dogs are carriers of anything or completely cleared. What does it mean if they are a carrier?  I know it sounds scary, but a carrier simply means they have a recessive copy of a gene. Better yet, this means that they do not have the disease and they are perfectly healthy. This is why we DNA test parent dogs to ensure that we NEVER breed two recessive gene carriers together. When two recessive carriers are bred together then there is a chance of producing dominant carriers of that gene and being affected by that disease.  We believe in full transparency here at Gypsy Rose Pomskies. We are happy to provide you with our Embark results upon request.  We assure you that we have tested our Pomskies before breeding with our full transparency policy, and our pups that are produced will be happy and healthy Pomskies that come with a 1-year health guarantee.
